I just love how her body is angled away from the man a lot, like she can't bear to see the pain she inflicts and with the final stab she has to look him in the eyes whilst killing him and seeing the pain that causes her is so heartbreaking and yet beautiful.

100% they captured basically who she was to who she is now symbolically in the angles of how this was shot. Everything before this moment was, she kills and hunts monsters but humans etc that mean no harm is not her memo or what should drive her and it's why earlier in the season she couldn't come to terms with killing someone who had inflicted so much emotional, mental and physical harm to her even though nearly everyone would agree he deserved it. Versus now, she's going against the foundations of what she stood for (not her fault clearly) but regardless of intention, she's taking away a life and that's super heavy, even in defense. She is no longer the same Ciri from this point on, and that's why the scene after this she's super quiet and pretty much in a state of shock and grief for that innocence that no longer can exist after this. It's also symbolic of why she chose to take on another name, it's like she's broken into another fragment of herself. It's a beautifully captured moment and beautifully acted by Freya as well. Super powerful moment as the trajectory of her life and path now has completely changed.

Geralt trained her as his daughter. its not unbelievable that a Elven lineaged could kill a human, they are after all faster and stronger. Ciri just had enough training that she didn't have to fight for her life.

Best part for me is that she is fighting and kills him, but she isn't really there; she's in her mind trying to process what happened to her, also thinking about having to take a life and grieving because of it, plus considering what is she going to do next now that she is free; she ain't really paying attention to the enemy in front of her and yet completly destroys that poor guy haha.

Exactly, which is also what lowkey makes her so lethal and terrifying at the same time when she's checked out like this. She's literally completely disassociated especially in this moment in the show, and somehow still able to multitask and kill this guy with absolute ease, literally as they said "playing with him" even though that's not her intention, but she's so badass that it's perceived that way. They really did their thing with this scene and her acting as top notch. Pure chills.

She is now lost, believing Geralt and Yenneffer have failed her and left. She has become Falka, her darkest version. Falka and the rats will be quite a journey next season.

This was the best season, it set up all this stuff for next season, and Henry won't be there. Goddamn it. But one reviewer said they might get away with it because the focus will shift more to Ciri now, as it does in the books. I don't have high hopes, because Geralt will still be so integral to the story, but we'll see.

People who like this scene wont read books, know shit about ciri and should start reading. In books Ciri here still cant force herself to kill human(for cultural gigachads who read book like me, we should remember that one of ciri character traits was she even through terrible things hesitating to kill. She wont kill scoiatael, wont kill Cahir when she can and wont kill skomlick here in book mistle kill him.) Ciri in books was kind of innocent from kaer morhen untill thaned, her first human kill was in haste on horses when she run with rats and ciri almost puke herself after(btw mistle here was one who bit understand her after this all) and not gonna say how terrible are rats portrayed here. In books they wear colorfull costumes and elegant weapons. Here they look like bunch of thugs that leave poor fuckin infantry while stealing garbage from army and mainly:they were kind of handsome, while here we see this. on top of it Ciri here like psycho killing skomlick! She torture man to death, she was like bonhart here! btw rats battle proves are terrible, in book mistle herself take down 3 mans and manage on knees counter two by herself, here she fight like Uruk from lotr with one guy entire time while in books she was total mvp in that tavern. 0 Out of 10 they ruined both ciri and rats
