Yes Komalji i agree with your review . The script is the culprit. I wonder how a seasoned Director like Rohit could even select and decide to make a movie out of this script . I am sure Rohit must have read the script before he started to shoot .All i can say is just because Rohit made a terrible decision to select this stupid script. Even talent of R Singh and others has gone in vain. Atleast from next time i urge Rohit to give some time to script selection or change his script writers if he has any... Everyone says Bollywood is missing good script writers but good and excellent script Writers say that Bollywood does directors and producers don't even allow new script writers to narate or let alone send their script . The answer of why Bollywood is failing is right here in this movie .

This movie is remake or slight upgrade of the 1982 Sanjeev Kumar's staring movie "ANGOOR". The movie was directed by Gulzar and the cast of the movie includes the skillful actors like Deven Verma, Moushumi Chatterjee, Deepti Naval, and Aruna Irani. Off course the original movie is adaption of Shakespeare's comedy of error. The 1982 movie is a classic movie which is available on KZbin at kzbin.info/www/bejne/qp7ImYShaa2HaaM. I don't know why no one mentioned it.

Comedy of Error पर इसके पहले भी दो फिल्में बन चुकी है । पहली, दो दूनी चार..जिसमें किशोर कुमार और असित सेन ने काम किया था । दूसरी फिल्म आई अंगूर, जिसमें संजीव कुमार और देवेन वर्मा ने काम किया था । मगर गुलजार साहब के निर्देशन में बनी फिल्म 'अंगूर' में कमाल संजीव कुमार और देवेन वर्मा ने जो कमाल किया था वो कोई और नहीं कर पाया । आप आज भी 'अंगूर' फिल्म देखेगें तो उतना ही मजा आएगा जितना पहली बार देखने में आया था ।

But the blind public have not quite caught on to that strategy of his. Movie critics get paid to do that job for money and his views are always subject to his bias. I never go by a paid film critic's reviews, who thinks the audience is dumb, but sadly for the audience, he would be right to believe that. The audience needs to smarten up and use their own intellect to discern what is a good movie, and trailers can sometimes help, not some crap from a paid critic who will spend a lot of time giving away the plot. Spoilers are one of his specialties.

I don't find his film reviews work for me but he seems to please the populous Indian audience in India. The best way to do it is to be your own movie critic = go and watch the film, and forget the reviews of people who make money by being a movie critic and who might mislead or misinform you or tells you what to like/enjoy or not.
