The Mrs is very short legs so not sure if dropping the floorboards down a hole will work for her but I do have your frame mounted highway pegs and absolutely love them!

my passenger has short legs also and dropping down one hole worked fine for her. Try just lowering the foot board one hole and have her sit on the bike and you'll know for sure.

how far are the pegs offset from the bike?

Hi Delaney, the Comfort Peg's pivot is about 1 inch further out than the original peg and a bike with rear passenger pegs (i.e. Street Glide/ Road Glide). These are in addition to the floorboards. Adding a second location for the passenger's foot that is adjustable so you can find the perfect fit.
