Cool to know you passed through KGMU, my hometown airport.

Thanks for watching. The approach into GMU was pretty sweet. I wish I could have filmed it since we were IMC down to about 700 ft. I like Greenville.

Thanks for watching Larry! They notified me yesterday the delivery date was pushed back until June 26th. What’s an extra week at this point, I suppose. Cirrus has been test flying the new plane so we are getting closer..

@@TheTedStriker007 You’re entitled to comments. Aviation has many nuances and varying techniques. I have never worked in a 121 environment. At least I acknowledged the callout with some phraseology.

Hey Don. Curious why you switch fuel tanks manually. I was under the impression the fuel system had an auto mode. Great vid, thanks.

Thanks. I had a few gallons extra in one take to burn.

I noticed you turned on the probe heat after rolling and set a timer. I assume it requires airflow before turning it on and there's a time limit for it?
@DonAv8s2 ай бұрын
Hi Matt. Yes, probe heat is required for takeoff and the entire flight. It has a 5 min limit on the ground. The timer is actually to time the approximate time the throttle is in takeoff setting.

how do you know when its a transition level/area?
@DonAv8s3 ай бұрын
Transition altitude is general 18000 feet in US airspace.
