You know that things are going to be difficult for the droids when not even 10 seconds have passed and 2 droidekas with shields were already destroyed

Fairly certain blaster bolts would be able to penetrate Space Marine armor, especially after several hits in the same place, just as I'm fairly certain boltgun fire will penetrate the armor on all the battle droids and possibly the droid tanks too.

In the Damocles Crusade it was shown that plasma penetrates Space Marine armor well.
