update. On the windows side I assigned an ip of 192.168.2.25 gateway 192.168.2.1, no dns, i also didnt need the usb to ethernet device i just used my integrated lan card,didnt diasble wifi or my virtual lan cards (I have VM installed) for the subnet it was in CIDR 24, it didnt take 255.255.255.0. I could ping from windows to the switch but not from the switch to the pc. The solution was disabling my norton firewall. Afterward pings from pc to 2960 was successfull and vice versa. I uploaded a tar file successfully and was able to back up my old bin file to pc. It worked thanks for your tutorial.
