HI Sal, thank you for the video. Unfortunately, i can't find any documentation, how to configure this without Control Hub for on premise devices with TMS and Expressways. Would appreciate it, if you can point me somewhere.

For this integration you need to have the cisco end point registered in Webex?

We tested it in our environment but found that we can't share desktop from Cisco VC, can you do that?

Maybe I missed it but ...2 way content sharing such as power point? Also, is there a feature that would allow video systems that are part of my company to join a Teams call without me having to manually admit them?
@CiscoSal4 жыл бұрын
One way today (Sharing to Cisco video devices but, video devices cant share) MS is working on WebRTC screen sharing. It only works today if you have a teams browser plugin. Since the video devices don't support plugins, we have to wait for MS to support browser only screen sharing. For your question on manually admit people. I believe thats an administration settings. By default I think all guest wait in the lobby and the host has to admit them. If you turn off that feature on teams, the video devices should be able to get in without the lobby. Try it and let me know if/how it works! I don't have admin access to a Teams setup to try it. If both of these are really important to you, CVI may be the way to go. As screen sharing, and verification of endpoint's (So they don't look like guests) is supported. The only issue is... CVI only works if your company has the CVI service and is the one creating the MS Teams invites. If some other company creates the invite and sends it to you, unless they also have the CVI service the endpoints cant join. They would have to join via webRTC. I will say that CVI and webRTC can both be used. So if you are trying to do Teams meetings internal, you will get the best experience for those meetings. Then if someone else invites you, until screen share is available it may be a subpar experience if you need that feature. Hope that helps!!!

Hi Sal , thank you for the nice video , i have just one question for weRTC what will be the call flow ? like if we need to troubleshoot meeting join failure , what will be the sources to collect the logs ?
@OrchestraBoi993 жыл бұрын
1. Hybrid Calendar Service adds the ~243 character MS Teams meeting Join URL for the endpoint to retrieve via a private-class API to Webex. The endpoint adds that to the Booking information you can access via xcommands. Verify that the endpoint has the URL. 2. From there, the endpoint opens a Chromium browser and opens the Microsoft Teams Direct Guest Join (DGJ) WebRTC web app. After that the endpoint acts nearly like a webcam, microphone, display, and speaker. There is some asynchronous communications between the app and the host, but those should be transparent. Those are things like mute and unmute status from the host and the app. Everything else needs to be troubleshot from Microsoft’s tools like you would be using a Chrome or Edge browser connecting to the same meeting.

DO NOT get the webengine option in the device configuration
@OrchestraBoi993 жыл бұрын
Only Webex Room Series, Webex Desk Pro, Webex Board, and later endpoints have web engine support. Older endpoints-like more than 3 years or older-did not have enough processing power to run the web engine.
