In the sadp tool page, when u checked for the ip addresses , YOU said [1] under device type column ": here is all your requirement devices with model number ", then in 6:06 seconds, you said , referring to the Same entries under Device column type " here is your NVR with model number. You don't need a Switch PoE, you can connect directly from the router to the NVR and from the NVR to the cameras.

There is software to put on a computer, but a computer is not made to process a lot of information 24/24, the NVR is a device specially designed to manage a continuous flow of data. Yes you can buy a computer powerful enough to do what the recorder does but it costs less a computer

Any Hikvision camera works with any hikvision recorder, you can also put cameras that use the ONVIF protocol, I did a project with more than 120 cameras, I used about 15 models depending on their location, their water resistance, the necessary precision, etc. It takes a basic knowledge to commissionning the system but hikvision is the easiest to program

If you have good experience in networking field, its enough. and the most important thing. 80/100 companies are not using cisco products. they are having variieties of routers and switches on their premises. IF you want to do something do in security field. learn how to implement firewalls, voip... etc..

Might be able to get a cheap used analog camera but the wire running is more work, picture quality is usually worse and the ends are much more susceptible to oxidization in my experience. Everything coming out from now on will be POE or a new technology unknown to me. Go POE unless you find an absolute steal of a deal.
