Ciscoe, I have a Melianthus sp. that we got 5 years ago at a nursery end of the year sale. It was puny and didn't look like it could live. We planted it by our water feature and basically forgot it. It came back with a vegenance and grew to about 5 feet tall. It's beautiful and when you rub the leaves it smells like peanut butter. My problem is this year is hardly grew and looks like it might be root bound. The root system reminds me of bamboo and isn't going to come out of the ground without damaging the water feature. Is there any way to successfully take cutting???? I want to try and save the plant. Please advise..... thank you
