Dude, you missed some stuff at your "disadvantages list" 1. Void warranty of your printer. 2. Very troublesome when troubleshooting problem such as adjesting the ink reservoir height. That is the most important psrt, if it is too high, the ink will flow to you cartilage too fast ended up soaking your internal full of ink, too low and your ink wont enter your printer at all. 3. Overtime, bubble will enter the pipe, this happens you will need to "pump" your ink by using deep clearning or some printer called it flushing ink mode. 4. If the picture lines occurs may due to many reason, reservoir too high making the tiny hold of the cartilage block by ink, or the ink dried up which you need to remove the cartilage and soak in hot water etc. 5. Your printer are not designed for external ink, which means there will be no path for your pipes to run through, the only path is through the printer lid which means you are squizing the pipe constantly pipes which may result in buble formed or the pipe to burst. Also, routing your pipe is already a challenge, if you tie your pipe too tight, your cartilage will not be able to move and put on tention of your pipe and maybe loosen. if too loose, the pipe will tangled up which may block the cartilage movement Note: if you wanted to learn something and love troubleshooting, go for it. If you are the type that don't wan any trouble, easy fix and go and you need your printer is crusual to your life. Than don't, you would rather buy an external ink printer or just get a laser printer. Trust me it is worth the price vs your time

I'm not that good in mechanical or anything that's related to a machine but your argument in numbers 2 and 3 are flawed. If you'll use basic physics to understand its concept it's not really a problem. First that ciss is engineered to be used as a custom ciss. The caps on that cartilage will protect the ink from overflowing because basically there is no pressure applied to that ciss just the gravity itself. So if it's full no matter how high it is it won't overflow. The problem is when it's too low because the ink can't travel higher so you'll need to place it just in the right place. That's not a big of a problem tho cause you only need to do that atleast once. The last one was the "bubble" it won't be a problem cause air can still be pushed by liquids just move the ciss. The dj 2130 is very cheap and upgrading with a less than 10 dollars ciss is a no brainer. Time is money, i know but the money you'll save from upgrading it is already enough to replace the time and effort you put in this.

Ciss kit installed and works perfectly but after a couple of months the HP stops printing the problem is not with the cartridges but HP blocks the cartridges that are being re-used. And no amount of printer resets does the job. I have HP desk jet 3830, and I haven't found a solution to that. Ultimately to print I had to buy new cartridges after which it started printing normally. Now my question is how does one clear the ink level memory from the printers motherboard ???

Sir, as per my knowledge my cartridge hp678 has Page Yield (color) of approx 150 pages, as said by HP. These cartridges costs approx INR 1000/- to INR 1200/- depending upon dealer and offer. But CISS gives a continuous supply of ink to these cartridges and costs approx INR 800/- and ink may cost approx INR 250/- and is Continuous Ink flowing into those cartridges and Page Yield (color) of more than the original company cartridge. Its Reusable, Money Saving and Environment Friendly. The ink is refillable.
