I am the other guy in the videos but even though I do fly alone on occasion, I cannot do a good job filming. Too busy when you are by yourself. Thanks for watching and thanks again for you comments. Should have another soon.

I'm a flightsim pilot heheheh and i fly the cj4 a lot... I learned since ground zero how to fly studied on my own with internet books and tutorial. Also learned to fly the cj4 by my own ... So i decided to see the real thing and i ended up watching your videos and i discovered that i'm doing great at it in my Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 cj4 flights... Today i simulated the saint martin flight that u guys did and i felt awesome! Great videos great flying keep going bud. I love all of them. Hope someday i will have enought money to buy a cirrus vision jet at least. 😅
@citation80hbflyer383 жыл бұрын
Marcelo that is great that you fly the CJ4 simulator. I also bought it but need a bigger computer to run it. Yes the St. Martin Flight was one of favorite flights. Coming over the ocean to land above all the sun bathers was exciting I have to admit. Glad you liked the video and keep your dream of owning a jet. You never get anywhere unless you have a goal or a dream that drives you to succeed.

David I did watch the video. Very close to real world and I was impressed with your proline 21 skills. I do have the program but searching for a computer that can handle the graphics. Great way to keep flying skills current. In the plane things do seem to happen more quickly especially around busy airspace’s like Orlando and CLT. Over speed is always an issue in the 4 since it has so much power. You came close a couple of times but caught it. Personally I like to hand fly on departure up through the flight levels and on approach. However they really encourage the use of the AP which is ok I guess. Overall you did very well. Great job.

Robert, yes there was a big wind issue at LBE but we dodged that bullet. Some smaller tee hangars suffered the damage and it looks like one plane. We are staying safe and I hope you are as well. Thanks.

Great videos! What do y’all see for TAS and Fuel Flow at FL350 or higher
@citation80hbflyer383 жыл бұрын
Hello Rob. Typically at FL 350 we see 450 kts and a fuel flow of around 1100 to 1200 lbs per hr depending on temperatures. The CJ4 has a very high thrust to weight ratio and may even be the highest among all Cessna jets. Great airplane! Thanks for watching.

@@citation80hbflyer38 wow!! Do you recall the tip top performance numbers at FL450? Does it start to run out?
@citation80hbflyer383 жыл бұрын
Rob at FL450 the speed drops to about 420 KTS TAS and about 900 lbs per hour. Great altitude for weather or long trips. However if heavy, and high temps, FL450 can be tough like ISO +10 or +15.

Hello I am a diabetic Type 1 guy. Am I allowed to make a flight license to fly as a private Pilot?
@nocalsteve4 жыл бұрын
The answer used to be a flat No, but the rules have changed over the years with it becoming permissible for some diabetics to get medical certificates when they meet certain criteria. Obviously the only way to find out is talk to an Aviation Medical Examiner to at least start the process.
@GDavidFleming4 жыл бұрын
How old are you guys? I ask because I am 74, and IFR, Commercial, Multi-engine, CFI.
@citation80hbflyer384 жыл бұрын
David Fleming David I am 77 and the owner of the plane. Mike the guy flying in the GSO single pilot departure is 63. We both have single pilot ratings but fly most of the time together splitting left seat time. I know the insurance companies get nervous about our ages but everyone handles age differently; however they have the last word. For many pilots age is just a number. I feel we fit into that category. Stay in shape, live healthy and there is no reason you can’t continue to fly for many more years safely. In fact my FAA medical examiner is 89 and is still instructing. He looks and acts like he is 50.
