Citibus launches new low emission buses

Hopefully the buses will be diesel electric, akin to the ones used in the UK. These new Calypso buses are a huge improvement to the ex-Gibraltar Bus Company buses.

Are they going to come round to the hospital on mornings as they are going missing . They go to boyd Street but don't come back

Looks like all the buses are going to be privatised and run by Calypso.

Think senior citizens should not have to pay on the Bossino buses.Some like to go for morning coffee and do bit shopping at the supermarket near airport but can't go often as have to pay.

Why shouldn't they pay ? Most have final salary pensions.

What about the particulates from the refinery.... composed primarily of paraffinic and olefinic C1 - C4 and C5 - C6 hydrocarbons. It may also contain varying amounts of other chemicals including, ammonia, hydrogen, nitrogen, hydrogen sulfide, mercaptans, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, 1,3-butadiene and/or benzene.

We are well behind we should have been on 0 emissions a long time ago much bigger cities have done it

Gibraltar is a polluted place. It's tiny so could easily go electric but at the very least, no bus worse than Euro 5 should be allowed on the road.
