Cities Skylines - Liberty City from GTA III - Staunton Island

Second video of my C:S - GTA 3 series! This time Staunton Island!
I decided to build upon a existing savefile that existed for Cities Skylines and that was public on the workshop from like 2017. Decided to give it some new life by redoing the roads and buildings as well as adding some authentic assets and sounds to it!
The city uses realistic population and traffic as well as realistic wealth levels in buildings and cars.

It's pretty batty how one single hobbyist legitimately did a better job remastering the city than an entire team who had a budget behind them.

Wildman and really did a great job on the city build of GTA 3. This looks so much better than that goofy-looking trilogy

Woah this is impressive! I once tried recreating the LC using the workshop GTA 3 terrain but it was never this detailed. I did not bother with replicating the buildings realistically, I was mostly interested to see what kind of traffic this particular city layout would generate. You on the other hand seem like you went full on replicating everything - the buildings, the cars etc. Very cool!

If only GTA 3 actually had this level of immersion, it's still a great game but it looks empty for the most part.

One thing GTA 3 lacked was more alley ways and back access to buildings. It was a very odd city.

Actually the Jefferson Street Credit Union Building (aka GTA 3 WTC) is taller than Bedford Point Tower (ESB).

As much as I liked III's Liberty City, IV's for me is a masterpiece. How they made the most of a map that's smaller than it looks like. GTA V's map is a complete waste in comparison.
