I use the very same technique when building piers. A tip: Instead of removing and replacing the quays when terrain behaves weirdly around them, select all of them with Move It and raise them with a few presses with Page Up then lower them back where they were. Terrain usually catch up then.

What controls are you using at 8:08? I know using Moveit with page up/down raises and lowers roads but how are you doing it with your mouse and not page up/down???

I don't use the mouse to lower/raise the roads, only with the keys.

Thomas Wildeman RICO mod requires you to subscribe to special RICO buildings in the workshop. If you want to just put down normal groaable buildings you need to subscribe to the Plop the Growables mod. But do read the description of that mod!!
