@amongalloway2996Сағат бұрын
It is very unfortunate that we have voted persons into positions of authority to over see affairs of public importance and we have to endure this blatant lack of respect of the Ghanaian people! The President has designated people to be Ministers and instead of dealing with issues of policy and competence we are discussing matters that are irrelevant to the designated position and ministry. There is a reason, we are so backward as a nation. These are our supposed leaders.!?
@amongalloway2996Сағат бұрын
Further to say, it seems our parliamentarians are not reading the room or rather the nation and are not aware that every day Ghanaians are not interested in petty party politics. We are more concerned with our bread and butter issues and we would expect that the public officers whom we are collectively paying will understand this.

As a communication minister designate, Sam George, disparaging the Chief Justice of Ghana is unfortunate. The NPP shouldn’t encourage such undermining of authority from someone who should know better. The NPP should therefore not vote for Sam George. Let the NDC alone approve his appointment.

Reasonable people understand law by nature. Don’t fool yourself with studying law etc. The people who constituted law were not lawyers, they used common sense and justice to build it, and gathered students to learn and make it their profession. Know that. Afenyo is doing his job and we expect it to yield good fruits. If he refuses to “properly” vet other nominees due to favouritism, it’s then an indentation on his integrity.
