Good evening. Thank you for explaining the calibres. I think that I finally understand the differences. 😄 Would you perhaps know where I can find and download a manual for the C022? The PDF manual that I did find is for calibres C020, C021, C023, C026, C027 and C029. Oddly it does not mention the C022.

@@Daud76 Hi friend, many thanks. There is a manual out for calibers C02X . That is the one you need. Actually there is only one manual for all calibers. Hope this helps.

Not many people know about the hidden feature on the original. The hourly chime sound! It can be set for the watch. In timekeeping mode, push the (S) upper left button and (R) upper right button both at same time. The buzzer continues to sound. The hourly chime is all set. If you want to disable it, press both buttons again and the buzzer sounds for a short fixed previous time. What is cool about the hourly chime, it sounds off two times on the hour. Beep Beep! 💫

Nice Video... I purchased my Citizen Aqualand in 1992. It is the same as your CO22 you are showing. I purchased it while on a dive trip to the Caribbean brand new. I dove with it about 10 times. It was very accurate to about 2 feet in calm water. I did numerous dives up to 160 feet w total down times at that depth of about 20 minutes. The watch has been sitting in a drawer for over 20 years now. I may be interested in selling it. Anyone out there can touch base and make me an offer. A fellow in Denmark did touch base with me with a nice offer, but just not enough.... I am pretty sure all it should need is batteries at this point.

@@plasticindices3385 I have a C028 Titanium all original pieces and still working, got the batteries changed at a certified watchmaker lately. Do you have any idea what price is rational for this model today? the watch is in great conditon just a few scuffs and scratches on bezel and glass

Got a Cq-1039 c026 from my dad, how should i go about the repairs? Is it just batteries?

Hi Ryan. It all depends. Try first replacing the batteries. If it doesnt work you can further disassemble the watch yourself (it's fairly easy) and have cleaned all the contacts. Hope this helps, cheers!

Thanks mate! Changed the batteries and it’s working again. I thought it was dead when the analog hands did not run after putting fresh batteries, just has to demagnetize it then it started ticking. I’m just not sure if I should actually dive with it.

@@Foreverfiveadventurers Do not dive until you change the gaskets. Especially, the backcase gasket gets squished and broken quite easily after a battery change if one is not careful. My friend in Israel sells full packets of gaskets at an excellent price. Cheers!

The way you presented your the watches and their numbers was very confusing. Couldn't make heads or tails because you kept jumping from one to another and it just was difficult to keep up and then the statement of it no where else to be found on the website is confusing. Your video is not only disorganized, it can't be trusted. Very unprofessional and your outline is jumbled with disorganized facts

Beautiful watches. I have a two-tone C023 in Stainless Steel I'm trying to restore as there was lots of battery corrosion after 20+ years of non-use from the previous owner. That's all cleaned up but to get the hands moving I've got to find someone locally who does microsoldering as there's a gap in a circuit board trace. After that, I'm just trying to find a single original caseback screw for my wonderful (hopefully working one day) Aqualand, which will be my pride and joy. Thank you for your video.

Hi, I put new 3 batteries in but nothing works. Is there a video on how to clean contacts? Also someone put demagnetize, how do you do this? Thank you! I bought this when I was 15 years old in 1986.

sometimes it is the contacts indeed, sometime it is the circuit plate itself, and cleaning is not enough. But thats extremely rare. It is extremely difficult for an aqualand circuit not to function properly.

What is the difference between C022/C023 to JP2000? JP2000 has screw down crown, 1 battery. Other noticeable difference function/dimension wise?

dimensions are for sure not the same. the JP is taller and with a 90 click bezel. C02x is 120. Etc etc. Many many subtle differences. I still prefer the older models. Thanks for watching. More to come soon.

Thank you for the video. The serial number is what you wanted to say. From the serial number, the year and month are listed. The first digit is the year and next two digits indicates the month and the rest are production sequence numbers. The first generation came out in 1985. The second generation came out in 1992, JP2000/JP2004. Overall, a iconic classic dive watch!

JP20** series came out in -97, not -92.

7 digit serial nr has year, 1st digit and month, 2-3rd digit. Citizen changed to 6 digits around -93, 1st is year and 2nd is month. O, N and D is Oct, Nov & Dec.
