You hear this kind of story a lot when it comes to Youth. It’s a shame Citizen has strayed away from this style of music however La dispute said it best during one of their live performances of Andria. Feelings change over time and it’s okay to revisit this music, just don’t let it keep you in that dark state of mind, for lack of better words. @@Hockeyjew702 At the beginning when he starts talking you can just hear subtle correction of pitch that isn't natural. It makes him sound sort of synthetic and like a robot. It's subtle but any sound engineer or producer would hear it immediately. Most bands use this technology these days, it's extremely common.
