When navigating pilots use minutes like this. EG if air traffic controller ask me for an ETA at my next turnpoint I will say '37' - meaning 37 minutes past the current hour. And when navigating each leg on my navigation is in minutes. IE Before taking off I calculate how long each leg of my navigation will take, based on flying at a certain indicated airspeed minus the wind (taking into account the windspeed and velocity at that location on my chosen route using data from the Met Office). When I reach a turnpoint I log the time I arrived (in minutes), then add the time for the next leg, and that gives me the ETA at my next turnpoint. I then fly the calculated heading until my watch tells me the the current time is now the ETA, and then I will be overhead the turnpoint (town, lake, hill or whatever else I'm turning over). That's why fleiger watches have the minutes more prominently. Hours are mostly irrelevant for navigation (or at least very much secondary). I've certainly never done a navigation where any one leg is longer than an hour (but it could be done, a fleiger does show the hours - just less prominently than the minutes). The problem with very long legs like that (apart from the cost) would be any errors (in calculations, in flying accuracy, windspeed blowing you off course, etc) would be magnified. You'd want to have regular 'cycle features' on the route to make sure you were on track/ allow you to correct for any drift, etc.

Good review. Very simple watch which was comprehensively covered by this reviewer. Many thanks.

the watch will tell you when it needs a UV charge, the second hand will skip two seconds. Once you give it about 10 minutes of sunshine, it will go back to ticking one seconds. Great watch, love it and I would like to get that canvas strap form mine.

there is no stainless steel version anymore , probably the black body when it will be scratched will leave more bright marks ? I wanted this model for work

I still have this watch, don't wear it as a daily, since it is a bit on the large side for me, but it has't got any scratches on the body or the glass (yet..). I'm on the second strap as the canvas one gave up 2 years ago.

Devi stare fermo col polso e con l'orologio, chi guarda ilvideo non fa in tempo a capire che cazzo stai facendo e vorrebbe vedere l'artico qualche secondo in più x apprezzare bene
