If ever the world needed an example of what greatest of being is, it is now. This man and his message are needed now in this world of rising fascism, more than ever. We must have the courage to oppose lies with truth, hate with love, and violence with nonviolence. At the end of the day, this is the only thing that will save us from ourselves.

Fakhr AFGHAN Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan was a Pashtun independence activist and a spiritual leader nicknamed as “Frontier Gandhi” due to his political activities and close association with the Indian leader, Mahatma Gandhi. Thanks for this nice video

Pity that we as his people have not owned his lessons and that India portrays him as from Afghanistan. This film should have got the facts right. He led the Pukhtuns in British India, in what is today Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which is part of Pakistan. His following was mainly in Pakistan which has more Pukhtuns than Afghanistan. It is very well made but facts about him in India and in Pakistan should not be tampered with. Shandana from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

I thank Indians for reminding the world about the pro justice and none violent nation the Pakhtoon or Afghan nation, but the history of Mullah Omar or Taliban were not explained well or justified, before Taliban came there were wild groups about 7 main groups called the Mujahideen whom were trained against humanity by the Pakistani, Iran and Israelian support through USA. They were trained to kill and spread violence in the none violent region so that the name of peaceful religion of humanity the Islam be demolished and convert to the violence and dreadful idealogy, unfortunately in 1990 - 1995 they brought disaster to the region particularly to the peaceful Afghanistan and the ethnic hatreds, religious dishonorship begun by the Mujahideen today they are called the northernaliance which consists of old 7 and three new groups, them thay killed, murdered and mutilated 70000 human beings only in the capital Kabul. After when the people remained undefended and disarmed civilians were tortured then the young students of religious schools from around the country especially from Helmand province rose up to defend the women, children and the country from the wild animal groups of Mujahideen, that's when the people also backed them up until they got victory in 1996, but because of lack of political acknowledgment from the regional and world's affairs they isolated themselves, unfortunately different groups by the name of peace, humanity and Islamic brotherhood entered and joined Taliban as today's ISIS and Pakistani ISI group took over their command then slowly sidelined the real peaceful and pro humanity Taliban to a side and pushed for extremism of Al-Qaida groups. Even the Taliban didn't agree with the violence but from the north and west Iranian and Tajikistan directly helped Northernaliance group of Rabani, Masood to enhance fighting and violence in the country and from the other hand they had contacted the world's powerful political disision makers and made them convinced after the 9/11 attack to focus towards poor Afghanistan and Taliban. Then without proper evidence, proper evaluation of past civil war situations in Afghanistan the USA bombarded country and gave 100 percent authority to the civil war criminals the northernaliance group. That's why the war goes on and they never succeed by injustice but by daily basis the corruption, injustice with civilians, migration, mass killings without prosecution and opium drug trade and mafia authority misuses the name Taliban and increases the colletral demages to have their business active. This is in short term but reality of all the decades, hope the journalists do evaluate their information and collect neutral information before making it in documentary. Thanks
