They have a step up on most female acapella groups since they have someone capable of filling out the baseline. A lot of female groups end up with a more hollow sound, where as the baseline rounds out the vocals way more. Glad you were as impressed as I was first watching them

You picked up on who arranged this? Scott Hoying and Ben Bram (among others). Scott and Ben co-founded the group. They opened for PTX on their last tour!!

HI Shaun! its so cool that you reacted to Citizen Queen, I absolutely love this video. Scott and Ben sure know how to pick 'em, all the girls are amazing. When I heard Kaedi for the first time in this video, I flipped my shit. Its great to hear an alto doing the "bassline". I never really got on the girl group bandwagon before, but citizen queen is exceptional.

Thanks for this reaction! Two things you did that put you ahead of almost all Reactors to Citizen Queen: 1. You quickly and correctly picked out the two who are "rhythm section" -- Cora (white top, braids) is the beatboxer, Kaedi (Jeans with fishnets) is the amazing bass. 2. You PLAYED IT TO THE END, so that you saw Scott Hoying (and the PTX arranger Ben Bram) credited for arrangements, AND you were able to see the girls' names.

I saw these girls at the PTX concert I went to last year...they opened for them...pretty impressive! the beatboxer had a solo thing where she just showed off her beatboxing, and I was like, wow! I had no idea girls could beatbox...nevermind so well! :)
