I know he hasn't avoided it before but it is different when you're not used to it haha. Their song "You are not your past" says "get off your ass" but I think it's because he didn't write that one alone. Thrasher, formerly of Escape the Fate co wrote it and I can see those lyrics coming from his contributions lol same with this one, New Medicine is featured and I think they added those lines so Jake probly just left it that way
