Some context on the bit at the beginning. Back around 2016 Jake attempted to end his life. Obviously he survived and while in a psych ward he ended up writing the lyrics for what would become Citizen Soldier’s first single. That song was “Let it Burn”. So thats what he means when he talks about that psych ward napkin changing his life. it quite literally did as that song helped set him on a whole new path of recovery and helping inspire others.

Sadly some of us do need the medications. Ive tried everything and with some life changes o do feel like i have a fighting chance but i definitely need medication on top of it to have a happy life from time to time. I know its definitely not for everyone and i respect that but ya some of us have tried all other options
