There are so many times I've considered crashing my car. I was just so afraid that I would become more of a burden to my family.. The raw emotion in this song makes me want to cry solely because I've been there. I've driven around to so many unfamiliar places searching for the perfect place to drive off of the road. Last year, that was my goal; I wanted to just cleanse the world of myself. This year, I've overcome that suicidal depression. On days when my depression skyrockets, I listen to this song as a reminder of just how awful it used to be. It does get better, guys. It doesn't get easier or better immediately. It takes time. Remember that suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem. You are worth more than all of the valuable gemstones in the universe even if you can't see that.

Funny how this song was part of a 5 song setlist when I was in a dark place and ready to end it all. Now in 2024 I can listen to it just for the feels. Glad I was able to pull through my issues even without the help I thought I needed at the time. Just remember you can't always count on friends and family for help when you need it, but if your willing you can pull through on your own and become stronger for it!
