Been a big citizen fan for many years since my father was gifted a C300 Navihawk in the mid 90s by my mother. I have both newer eco drive AT models and some mechanical ones as well personal favorites are the AT8020-54L and my gold dial Eagle 7 36mm. I don't own a pocket watch and normally I could see one not fitting my style but this this is just perfect. Citizen really is truly a watch of the people. The mayor of Tokyo 100 years ago got it completely right, a company that produces great watches at all levels from your basic daily driver quartz to super accurate lines like The Citizen for example. Keep doing what you're doing and I'll keep buying your products.

I like the promaster line, but for some reason, Citizen refuses to build more compact models for slender wrists :(

A very good point. Even Seiko has reduced sizes to some degree. My slender wrist turns anything over 41- maybe 42mm into a clock.

Citizen is one of my Favorite Brands , i really like the tsuyosa , and there are so many other interesting watches from Citizen like this ultra thin one 2:29 but the price is above my budget , i would even consider to buy a Pocket Watch just as a collector , You are doing a good Job Citizen , thumbs up .

My eco drive, which was my work watch, must be way over 30 year old and still keeps excellent time, day, date. It will be of little value and I once thought of “disposing” with it. But old servants become part of the family.

I just wish you'd come up with a 2024 [or in the coming years] a Ladies [not too much bells n whistles] Sporty cum Dressy Watch with a face that lights up in the dark, legible enough numerics + 3 hands, with case size option that's not going to look awkward on a 5.5" petite wrist. I would like this wish to serve as a CHALLENGE to the designers/engineers. More Power, Citizen.

My EcoZilla has withstood 4 1/2 years of me on the floor of machine/fabricstion shops, machining, grinding, you name it. It’s withstood this long in what destroyed my Gshock in 3 months. A NB6004-83E Promaster Marine automatic 46mm is next on my list as none of my micro brands have a Miyota movement and this one you made is on steroids. I’d like to add I’d love a Seiko as well but misaligned pips and chapter rings really bug me. PS I own one pocket watch and yours looks way micer

Love the concept, not sure I agree with making only 100. An aside here, I have been looking for YEARS for a sub 38mm men's wristwatch from Citizen and I have only found one model, the Chandler, (which I bought). Please, make more models available in a width below 38mm. and make at least one with a white/cream dial.

How are they “ripping off their customers”? They set a price, if people are willing to pay what they are asking, they’ll sell. If not, they won’t. I agree it is a super high price and my list of watches I would buy for $9k before this one is as long as my arm, but others may want one. Time will tell. I do agree with you that they should make something more affordable as a 100 year commemorative piece so more people (Citizens) can partake.

Too bad they don't support their watches for repair past a certain point. One of my best watches ( aqualand promaster ) stopped working , sent it in, and was told too bad, so sad, sorry. Considering what I paid for it back then, I would think they would have supported it .
