Stunning restoration accomplishment! Most impressive. Thanks for posting the journey from the rust bucket to fully restored. I appreciate your work and photo documentation along the way.

You do a good job of bringing these cars back to life. Otherwise they would end up doomed to scrap.

Thanks for your nice words. Yes these cars were going to rot where I found them.

Happy days !!! another astonishing restoration. You did a marvelous job....again. Excellent video. One day I would love to hire a 2cv and explore France. Take care, enjoy your Easter.

Thanks for the nice words. A 2cv to play tourist in France is probably the best way of doing it. I have done a bit of that before i moved to the UK.

@OldTimerGarage7 жыл бұрын

Superb job for being a DIY restoration. But in my humble opinion you should pay more attention in restoring the little bits, for example handles, instruments etc. For the rest, I bend in face of such skill in fabrication and painting... can you teach me something? 😆 Greetings from Italy!

I am as impressed with your restoration skills as with your knowledge of the English language! Any Brittisch connection there?
@OldTimerGarage7 жыл бұрын
Any Bristish connection for what? Learning the language? Not really, I just decided a few years ago that I wanted to live abroad, got an opportunity in the UK and moved... I have been living here for 5 years now so had to learn to speak properly haha

Awesome job. How many hours did you put in?
@OldTimerGarage7 жыл бұрын
Usually around 1000 hours per car within a six months period but I was only doing it as a hobby. A very time consuming hobby but a hobby nonetheless :)

No sacrilege from my point of view. I wanted to do the same too.

One question, you do all work for hobbie, o you restore the cars and then sell them?
@OldTimerGarage5 жыл бұрын
I do that as a hobby but I sell the cars to finance other projects.
@breo98075 жыл бұрын
@@OldTimerGarage but, you never think dedicate restorate cars? Because youre great restoring 2cv and dyanes. One do you do a tutorial of how dismount a dyane 6 top?
@OldTimerGarage5 жыл бұрын
These cars are pretty hard to make money from by restoring them. Their value is not high enough. If you bring me your Dyane I can show you how to take it apart and make the tutorial at the same time 😉
