Great to the point video. Made changing a parking sensor a 20 min job rather than faffing about. Here's a few helpfull pointers to anyone else doing this for the first time. 1:30 You might have a mud flap that covers these two panel clips. There are 2 philips head screws. A spam ratchet, 7 mm socket and 1/4" hex philips bit is easiest to remove or you can take the wheel off and use a normal driver. 3:00 If you have a screwdriver with a 10mm socket. This makes it very easy to take out and put back in. 3:30 It felt like I was gonna bend the bumper to far and crack it by just pulling. But found if you slide it up and down whilst pulling gently, it just falls out. Things to note 1. The bumper clips that hold in the parking sensors are quite brittle now, so be gentle. I broke one a little on one side but hold it in just. 2. Be carful that when you put it back on that the wires are resting over the crash bar and not the exhaust. 3. Needle nose pliers work great with these centre pin panel clips. Again, Thanks for the Vid.

Saved me a load of money, not something I would have attempted myself if not for this video

Great video. Just swapped the bumper over on my Citroen and your video really helped to make it a smooth process. Thanks.

With the used market for this car now very buoyant, your excellent, concise demonstrations are more valuable than ever. Thank you so much for having made these videos. One thing I would like to know, the rear lamps have 4 white sections of which only 1 contains a bulb for reversing with. Is it possible to insert bulbs in the other 3 and cable them to the same loom so that all are active?

Thanks that very kind and I really hope the videos help people save money. I’m not sure about the rear lights, it’s possible they’re made that way to suit all markets around the world with different lighting requirements so that bulbs can easily be put in different places.

@@IAMASPANNER Thanks for your reply. As to the question I asked, I will put my hands up to the fact that I am a total idiot. I asked the same question at my local garage and the mechanic looked at me and replied, "Are you serious or pulling my plonker?" He then pointed out that the lower right section is indeed the reversing light while the lower left is the fog light and the 2 center sections are the indicators.

Ones reverse, ones fog, others are turn signal. All sections are used

@@PBCaurillacLOL, don't be embarrased. Renault only put a wire to one light clusters fog lamp but put a bulb in both. It's an EU thing, same with reverse lights. It disturbs my OCD too. lol

is it possible to remove the bumper strip (where the parking sensor is) without taking the whole rear bumper off?
@IAMASPANNER2 жыл бұрын
It should be possible but it may not be very easy.
@UberAlphaSirus7 ай бұрын
I can confirm. Taking the bumper off is way easier. And much less finger trapping.

At 1:50 what is the bracket called? I need to get one but can’t find one anywhere

Bit late I know. But. It's part of the wheel arch liner.
