OK..... I am getting a little fed up with this. I brought a DS5 Hybrid 3 months ago for £23,000. I love it and it loves me, but I CANT GET RID OF THE SMELL INSIDE. Its not an unpleasant smell, its very sweet, but not like an air freshener. Its getting so bad that if I drive for more than 30 minutes I start to feel sick. I also find it gets worse when the sun shines and it gets very hot inside. I took it back to the dealer and he kept it for 2 days and said, "All fixed - no smell". WRONG! Still smells, still feeling sick. Anyone help?

***** NO....... The smell is still there and its really ruined my love for my car. I cant ignore it and now when I think about going out I think of the smell first. But, it only seems to be my car. No other owners haver got the same problem. The Citroen guys are great and really helpful, but cant find any problem.MPG..... I'm sorry, but I'm really stupid about things like that. There is a computer on the dash that tells me what the MPG is at that moment, but when I coasted down a hill it went up to 999..... But I had a Discovery before and its 100 times better than that, but that's no surprise - I loved that car, but I almost had to go on the game to put petrol in it.Anyway. Don't worry about the smell - its only mine.... Get one, its lovely, it looks good, the stereo is good. I'm not into driving fast, but it really goes and I have scared myself a few times.Oh yeah. If you wear a long skirt be careful of the thing that moves the seat forward - it hooks.See ya X

It's the hybrid battery's , when they heat up emitting a sweetish but irritating smell ( no fix am afraid )
