Sanatan Dharma is not about one book, one man, one command. It is a philosophy that afford freedom to choose your path from among many to realise the Supreme truth. And it's about respect for life,liberty of thought n nature in all its forms.

Certainly Gurudev who has dedicated his own entire life to Vedic Sanatan Dharma, expresses the true vedic spirit in his translation of "The Bhagavad Gita comes alive". If one is truly a seeker, truly yearns for the truth, Gurudev Kavindra Rishi's radical and truthful translation of the Gita will change anyone's life once and for all. The Gita itself is not even a book, it is a conversation, between us (Arjun) and the Beloved (Prabhu Shree Krishna/Brahmaan/Supreme Reality) who is telling us how to come back home. This verse from the Bhagavad Gita with Jeffrey ji's translation alone has struck the cords of my heart. Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Chapter 5 Shloka 29 BHOKTĀRAM YAJÑATAPASĀM SARVALOKAMAHEŚVARAM SUHRDAM SARVABHŪTĀNĀM JÑĀTVA MĀM ŚĀNTIM RCCHATI One who experiences Me as the eater of what is offered in a yajna; one who feels Me as the fire in the body that burns away impurities while performing tapasya; one who sees Me as the ultimate ruler of all the planets in the universe; and one who knows Me as the one who is seated in the heart of all living entities, desiring only what is best for them; that person finally reaches Me and achieves the delightful and harmonious state of shanti.

Actually now Christianity and Islam have changed their story as usual. They are connecting their timeline ancient Egyptian and claiming that both these religions are as old as humanity itself. 😂😂. Also they are giving alternative explanations for karma and rebirth like a lot of Christians who go to heaven ask to be sent back to earth. The cult like followers like this but some intelligent Christians know it is not true and gave accepted karma and rebirth,

Naman to Kavindra Rishi ji for another interesting video. The more people will tilt toward vedic civilizational values, the more livable the world would be. The world is full of greedy, violent and selfish people. Vedic knowledge is eternal dharma that teaches peace and harmony with nature. This is not against the true meaning of the modern science as the modern science itself is developed from Vedas.

None can get converted to Sanatana Dharma. Only because SD is in a much higher plane and are much more deeper and rich and beyond human science comprehension. One can only raise ones soul to that level , where your religious ideologies becomes meaningless, be it any religion including Hinduism as seen as a religion if one does.

Namaste Gurudev! I am reading carefully your brilliant work "The Bhagavad Gita comes alive" Indeed such a simple, flowing English, not tiring someone, yet preserving all Sanskritic key words, giving the full message of Prabhu Krishna's message to humanity. To say it is a gift to us is not sufficient dear Gurudev. If people only read and reread and contemplate only on this Gita, let alone if they add other editions in Indic languages which I am sure convey also deep meanings, and let alone being able to access directly in Sanskrit, it changes your life. Through your work you are changing my life dear Gurudev! Gita comes alive, to make our dead hearts and minds awakened and the veil of our illusions and ego to vaporize and realize who we truly are and the Ultimate Reality. And unlike all "holy" or "religious" book this is indeed a song, philosophy, poetry, and above all a conversation between us as humans with the Beloved with Prabhu Krishna/Brahmaan, our atma finding its own way home. Thank you Gurudev Kavidra Rishi, Jeffrey Armstrong ji!

The good thing is that the Sanatana Dharma allows one to have their own ‘Ishta-Devata’ and Jesus could be just that, yet they can practice the Dharmic practices, accept the idea of Karma, Dharma,reincarnation and cyclical timeline !
@Nattapong696 ай бұрын
You cannot have an asura "ishta-devata" that hates yoga, meditation, pranayama, qigong, astrology, traditional medicine, and all dharma religions. The Abrahamic God/Gods seek world domination and the destruction of contemplative religions. When are Hindus going to stop their "radical universalism" and finally start competing with the Abrahamic religions in the market place of ideas?

Science is not able to explain the consciousness as a part of the perishable body. The Hard Problem of Consciousness as they call it. They are increasingly moving to the concept that consciousness is different from the brain and mind and thought. Which actually what Vedanta is saying all along. Maybe sometime it will become accepted theory and hope Hinduism survives till then

The Christians world wide who are devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba of Puttaparthi have been greatly influenced by His teachings, the main reason for which is His exposition and interpretation of the entire gamut of ancient Indian spiritual records produced in Sanskrit such as Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharat, etc.

Science came from the Greek who imported some science from the Babylonians and the Egyptians. The Greeks under Alexander the "Great" came to India. Some few old Indian sources report the Greeks only having two castes, but importing their "science" (which is astrology). After that, the Indians also developed some science. Zero was invented by the Indians, but negative numbers were invented in the late medieval Europe. It is *_that_* fresh.
