Love Hillsboro. I was there visiting my Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and cousins during my childhood, then my parents. Went to Hillsboro school briefly. Since 93 live in the county. Always loved the pond, the Fireman's fair.. music and dance and parade for Labor Day, hwy 33 Piggly Wiggly, cheese factory Hillsboro Drive Inn. In down town Hillsboro Bakery, Ben Franklin store, large Shoe store, outside pool, and various old time full of antique WOOD architecture bars filled with live band on wkend....Henicks!?! My grandparents (grandfather at age 7 came from Prague, Czechlasolvika huge back yard, even had a few milking holsteins, was almost the Hillsboro school field. Haven't been to Hillsboro for over 25 years. Would be nice to get there in a couple of years when covid is more in control. Old Norweign cemetery on V. So many good memories of Hillsboro.
