"I remember thinking back to when I was a kid, wanting to make music for a living, and I remember going through a period where I felt defeated because no one was listening to what I was doing. Then I realized I had to actually work for it, get out there and show people that I think I could write a good song as apposed to waiting for them to come and listen to it." Inspired me enough to start a EP with my old bandmate.

When he said that people move on from artists, because of being at different stages of life. I know in my heart, that I will NEVER leave Dallas. No matter what stage of my life I'm in, No way in hell!

I still think about the words Dallas says in this Video. 12 years later is still resonates with me. "I actually have to work for it." I think that's the part where we all get hung up on. At least myself. Thank you Dallas for all that you do and how your words age but the message still rings clear. Also Shout out to Daniel Romano on this album! I personally think this is dallas' best band album because of the Dan&Dallas but I'm bias towards this album! Still enjoy all that Matt Kelly Brings to the band with his slide playing!

so pure, so honest and clear. i've never wanted so bad for someone to get absolutely everything they deserve. his music is so absolutely inspiring that how can you not love this music? how can you not grow with him?

I saw dallas at the circle in the square years ago. His live performance (as a fellow musician) was inspiring. Circle in the square is a world renowed venue that typically caters to symphonies. His voice control is insane.

This was my favorite video back in high school.. I've watched this video probably dozens of times. It just made me so happy. I remember I even did some presentation on this album and talked about how much it helped me, during my random hit of depression when I was a sophomore. Still my favorite album by Dallas Green!!

It's so beautiful to see that much passion and truth in a musician. Its just perfect that he's recording in a church. Everything about his music feels secret, and almost sacred, why not record in a sacred place? Mmmm, not to mention the acoustics in there sounded heavenly.

This album is going to be so great. I feel like I learn so much about myself through his music. When anything major happens in my life and I feel lost I turn on city and colour. It always makes me cry (I guess Dallas succeeded), but then I feel whole again, like it heals me. I hope Dallas knows how powerful his music is to his fans.

It is so relieving to watch Dallas struggle on that slide part at 12:15 in the video. When I'm struggling to record a part, doing it over and over again, I feel like a sham of a guitar player. It feels better to watch a talent be willing to share that struggle here.

Wow! That's the 1st time I've EVER heard Dallas say he wants people to cry. Well holy sheep sht! You achieved that with me. I was so moved as a matter of fact that I tried to sing about it. Key words " I Tried." It took sometime to realize that it is normal. I just didn't know that this is what Dallas wanted people to hear and feel. Well achieved D.G.
