CITY CENTRE WALK, Uddevalla, Sweden

Enjoy a walk along Uddevalla shopping street. Uddevalla is a town in Västra Götaland County, Sweden. It is located at a bay of the south-eastern part of Skagerrak. Uddevalla's beaches are filled with seashells and the city has one of the largest shell-banks in the world.

Thank you for the walking tour of Uddevalla City Center and down to the river. I live in the United States and have ancestors who lived in Uddevalla in the late 1700s-early 1800s including the names of Retz, Holst, Frisk, Bagge, Hammar, and Isberg. I appreciated seeing how Uddevalla looks today.

Love the town. My daughter lives in Ljungskile and works in Trollhattan. Make annual visit from LA. Cool town, with decent restaurants 👌.

Another great tour. All that brick must have took awhile to lay. Reminds me in a way of how my hometown was back in the 70's. Anything you needed was there. Now the super mega marts have killed the towns here.
