This show actually ended the year of the attacks. I used to watch this show before school every morning through out that year. I didn't even know it ended in '01. It's possible I've never seen the final season.

The show was airing in 2001 when the towers went down. They never did anything special for it. You can see in late season 4 and season 5 that the NBC watermark logo at the bottom looks like an american flag. They did this in rememberance of the attacks.
