This is one of my favorite episodes of the series! We rarely see any shows touch the racism subject anymore.

Jamal's Uncle filled his head with ideas. Dawn was right about his views being a little radical.

She was probably thinking about things like segregation during Martin Luther King Jr and Rosa Parks' time. However, the confirmed bias that you see is still a problem with some and as this story showed, it's on both sides. The way to counter it is to SPEAK out against it.

I wish I had went to a school that allowed students to go on the roof. I would be up there every break.

Bit of a goof here: El-Train said Chris' name when he was talking about the Masai. So Jamal's uncle should have already identified Chris. But oh well, minor issue.

I like how the show displays reverse racism. Many shows are afraid to show both sides.
