I do not imply that everyone has a bad past therefore Jack's acts is any more respectful. But what I'm simply saying here, is that it is not only unfair but an act of hypocrisy, a false virtue to completely disrespect or judge directly or indirectly a person, based on one past failure, dishonest act or evil done by simply ignoring the other side of a person.

I just think that everyone deserve a 2nd chance. Ppl might think if how bad he was, but if he is truely willing to change. We should respect the decision he made, change to be a better person.

I definitely do not have the slightest respect for what he did to his family, especially his wife, no human being does. Just like you and I won't have any respect for our disrespectful act in the past. But that doesn't mean I do not have any respect for you at all. I have turned from mine and never will go down that path, and I know you've done the same. In fact I even believe you've been doing things or deeds which actually deserves respect and recognition. That is what I respect about Jack!

@juragan70 he basically talked about how God inspires him and gives him ideas when his mind is sucked dry when writing the script. Also, how God was able to help him finish this movie even after all his setbacks and obstacles he faced in the past years. How the church was of great support to him when he was at his lowest, and he also described the whole idea behind the movie. Just a summary, hope it was good enough! :P

What I said wasn't an excuse. Certainly not a joke either. If you are certain its a poor logic, I'd be thrilled to see you prove it. Not asking me questions which you already know what my answer will be.

Guess we are all fallen angels, and hence the need for God. In the final analysis, it's always just between me and God, and nothing else.

He did apologies and not defend and deny it did he? Wouldn't you yourself, wish people would forgive you when you're caught red handed by apologizing? Don't you tell me you've never been caught red handed. Yes I am quite positive maybe he would continue if he wasn't busted. So you are willing to fully focus on a persons bad past instead of their future? And lastly, who are you to assume that he apologies not because he wants his marriage and family back instead of thinking only bout his career!?

I think the point the previous 2 comments was trying to bring across is: Jack Neo has clearly done something that doesn't deserve our respect, and don't tell me that you think that isn't true. Your reply, which seems to be defending Jack Neo, is invalid and of poor logic because: Just because I have done something 'disrespectful' in my life as well, doesn't make Jack Neo's actions any more respectful. Ultimately, your defense of Jack Neo is still a poor one. Whoops.

He confess his mistake? Yes of course, but he was caught "red handed" before he made a public apology and he apologize publicly bcos he need to answer to his fans and media and in hoping people will continue to support his films or his CRAP films. And do you suppose he will stop if he wasn't caught cheating?

So let me get this straight, you are speaking on behalf of every husband and father who has been loyal to their wife and faithful to their family, up until today by using 'We' is it? And you all, do not have any respect at all, for a man who is willing to let go and confess his mistake (adultery) openly to the public?
@SammyBeatboy12 жыл бұрын
So unless a person is willing to be judge or regarded just by one single shameful act in life for the rest of his life, then completely disrespecting Jack, is just a conclusion without thinking further.
