My opinion on the raised difficulty being raised: It WILL challenge him to make better decisions and it will force him to learn the game more! This episode he was not prepared. He normally takes over a 100 arrows/bolts and takes more bullets and he is usually careful about his usage. This episode he missed a lot and didn't even have enough shots to start out when he left his house. If he prepares more when making these big trips to new locations (which will have a higher zombie count and spawn rate), he will be able to get through it.

Vik you should make your Perishton base (if you loot there again and stay over night) in the bunker. It's great and it won't need a bunch of fortifying.

Please sort out your MAGNUM! you have few good parts in the chest, and 600 magnum is beast. Seriously 600-ish Sniper does 69 damage, and 600-ish MAGNUM does 88.

OMG, Vikk, if you find tool you don´t need, just scap them. You had scrap iron on you anyway and you left behind some tools, which means you left behind a couple of hundred scrap iron to upgrade your spikes. And if you have already stunned a single zombie with your crossbow, use your club to finish it off. You wasted about ten arrows in this episode alone... Sorry for this little rant ;)

Dear People, Raising the difficulty does not increase the number of zombies, it is a rule-set, meaning raising the difficulty only makes the damage done by Vik slightly less effective and the damage caused by zombies more effective. Vik will not die a lot if he continue to progress as he has been and continue to upgrade defenses as the game continues. Best regards, Me

1. Do not scrap ammo! Do not sell ammo. Smelt it in the forge. To remove ammo from any gun just click "assemble" (you don't need to remove any parts). 2. You made a mistake by setting your difficulty up. The only thing it changed is that you created bullet sponges. You won't get more zombies during the hordes, they won't do more damage to your walls. 3. Zombie cop dies in two stages - after some damage it starts running, you have to hit him hard during that or it explodes. You wasted a lot of bullets by hitting the cop fast without waiting for headshots. Headshots are they key especially when shotguns are so crap. 4. You went out with 44 crossbow bolts and 23 shotgun shells. That was just stupid. 5. You will not find loot in every container. When there's loot - it's rarely a good one. When there's good loot - it's rarely great. You're really unlikely to find many elements. You may not find auger blade at all. 6. You're acting silly. If you think that the auger is going to solve all your problems - you're very wrong. 7. Just go and mine with your pickaxe. Two hit per stone is actually decent and your low quality auger (when you get one) will not be much faster. 8. You sold your good leather duster and puffer coat while leaving shitty ones in the house. You should always have a poncho and good duster/coat as a spare. 9. On this thing made out of iron blocks there's usually a safe or a sports bag (or both). 10. In the bank you don't have to hit the door - just destroy two blocks on the left or right. With your pickaxe, not an auger! 11. There was one more thing but I forgot... 12. Two skills/perks you should spend some points on: quicker crafting and the fixer. Keep grinding tools.

You can get auger pieces from the snow biome trader. That's the only place I've found them. You missed about three working stiff crates inside the powerplant. You can also break the cobbleston blocks beside the vault door and get into the bank easier. And you don't need an auger to break the safes in the bank, I did it before day 28 with a steel pickaxe.

Vikk mate, when it comes to the bank, break in through the wall beside the vault door. The durability of cobblestone is only 1500 vs. the 8k of the vault door. Also don't forgot the wall safes behind the teller desks. Still learning though. Makes me happy to see that.

Vikkstar, use the slugs instead of the buckshoots if you use slugs, the shotguns becomes a rifle that does like 150+ damage every shoot, but when you use the buckshoots it only does like 50-70 tops lvl 600, i used a lvl 600 shotgunwith slugs on a server and i defended against a horde on day 284 withing 15min and it was houndreds of zombies, good luck with the series

Vik you can break nearly every wall safe open with only 2 tnt, 1 would be against the vault door: will open the vault and the 2 adjacent safes, and 1 is placed in the middle of the room on top of a placed block and will open pretty much every other wallsafe

The bunker is inside of a very small house with a lamppost in the backyard. Inside of that house there will be three metal on the floor and if you break those, you will find the entrance. The bunker is very strong because every wall is cement. (Sorry for bad english)

The best way for you to find auger blade at this late game is to just speedrun every trader everyday since they restock per day and hit every unlooted and respawned working stiff crates shop.

It's much better for when he was having issues with that wandering horde. You can one hit kill a zombie with a headshot, whereas it takes 3 hits to kill a zombie with his club. It may be a slower swing, but it is a quicker kill.

honestly, you are never really gonna struggle in horde nights, because the developers limited the amount of zombies that can spawn from hordes at the same time to 8 and if you kill them for some time, you will even thin out the horde. only solution i see is go into the game files and increase this limit. if you want some info about that you should maybe watch some of kage848s videos, he usually provides good info about that kind of stuff(or maybe ask him and he will help you out, even though i dont know if youtubers do that kind of stuff)
