They're open late for adults. They have a bar and it's walking distance from the other bars; so as long as you be safe, it's fun as hell at night with a group of friends.

hahaha, i really dont want to imagine being even slightly buzzed walking around that place. ;) fantastic fun, but holy heck.. i found at least one of the bars, and their drinks seemed watered down, but that could have been me.

I had a nanny job in California but the dad got a 3 month job in St Louis. So I would take their 2 year old here multiple times as there wasn’t too much else to do. This is a great and fascinating place. I came here at least 7 times. Fun memories.

Went there yesterday! Was very sad to leave it, since I am from Michigan. We only spent a few hours here, which meant I didn’t see much of it. But just makes me want to go back in the future! Lucky the only thing that happened was my wallet broke and fell on one of the outside attractions, but I was able to grab it. I learned that I needed to get a locker so I didn’t brake anything else

hahaha, absolutely an awesome place. like you said, it's nigh impossible to describe. i've been a good number of places, had some strange adventures, but this one certainly sticks out in my mind. i'm equidistant in opposite directions from indianapolis childrens museum and center of science and industry for ohio, and they both have their merits to be sure, but City Museum just holds some strange allure. i've only been once, but goodness, between that museum and the arch, we made a whole day, even though the museum part of the arch was under construction. (the arch was quite underwhelming, but it's one of those engineering fascinations that you have to see to describe to others. you have to know what it's like to ride in a dryer to the top of a bendy bit of metal)

I went to this place a few times as a kid an only ever had one "incident". did I hurt myself on the thin bars climbing 70+ feet in the air? no did I fall off something? no did I accidently run into someone on a slide? no .... did I get stuck deep in a ball pit, completely immobilized by all the balls, and was only saved by the fact that my older cousin saw me sink in and hulk-gripped me and yanked me out? yes.
@squinn97 Жыл бұрын

Not worth the ticket price which is $18 perperson over age 2. It is NOT a museum which is suppose to be a building in which objects of historical, scientific, artistic, or cultural interest are stored and exhibited. This is more like an adults idea of a playground. Very disappointed and a waste of our money to take a family of six.
@gamebred56622 жыл бұрын
I took my family of 7 there and we had a blast. Adults included. Was worth every penny. Was there for hours with the kids running around being a kid again. Your prob one of those parents that doesn't actually play with your kids cause if you did this place is amazing.
@sammyjo81092 жыл бұрын
@@gamebred5662 A museum is suppose to be an educational place not a playground. The same experience can be obtained at "Chucky Cheese." This "museum" is not focused toward education. Evidently your family is not into and enjoy mind enriching educational experiences.
