Amazing, I still know half the judges and Jordon Frisbee ( don't know his partner but wow), Kyle Redd, Tatiana (fun and creative as ever), Ben Morris? (Once took lessons with him sans the beard) Sarah V. I just finished watching another competition where the dancing looked like lifts by contortionists set to music. This is what I remember from 10 years ago and it still holds up. How fun to see the entire class instead of having to watch individual videos!!! Thank you!!

Was Sylvia the first follow? Hope I have that right. We’ll just WOW!!! Certainly her own woman with her own moves but very “Tatiana” in terms of being a fierce WCS competitor and creative dancer. High praise for a kick-ass performance. And… her lead was not bad… LOL. Well, back to video.

Yes! It's really never too late to learn... When I visited Seattle, I made friends with a lovely lady in her seventies and we took some beginner classes together. She was very ambitious and did an amazing job on the dance floor. Just try it out, you might end up loving it :)

I'm sorry if that's what you feel but you are very misinformed about how this works. The man is leading, the woman cannot complete the things that she does without him setting her up. Everything is done with the grasp of a hand, she knows by the firmness of how he holds that part of her arm if he is taking her to do a spin. If she is not taken out of some spins you watch these guys spin them using both hands. (I have no clue how they do it but it is fantastic to watch.) If you pull up Kerrigan Rudd he actually breaks down how dances are done. How things are set up by the partner, but a lot of the West Coast swing they will implement where you have to swap. Sometimes the woman is leading and you don't know this just off of shorts. (unless they state so) but it's not just one-sided I promise. You watch these women spin and put all of their weight into those guys and if man wasn't there leading they've fall on their asses. Some are not as strong as others. But that's not the group as a whole. Leo Lorenzo, out dances many partners.

Hey that's not nice the woman can not do some if the tricks if it were not for the male being there. He gives support & there to catch the woman if something goes wrong. You should get your facts right before you say anything. Also I've seen many videos where the male also does as much as the woman does. Don't know what your watching all the time but this sort of dancing in not about what sex you are. I've seen 2 guys dance together & both do the moves. So broaden your viewing.
