In the Summer of 2018, North-West Clare had the pleasure of a visit from 3 amazing young American women.
Lila, Anika, and Fengyi. They were creating a film about music from Clare, especially focussing around Doolin.
They were a joy. Really engaged, and really interested to present the music and song in a positive light.
Their film will be called The Job of Songs.
I did a concert in The Barn in Hotel Doolin, alongside my friends in The Fiddle Case that August.
We performed my City of Chicago. And here it is.

I really love this song. And an like Luka Bloom. I saw him in Cologne some years ago, and I was very impressed.

Please come to germany again. I want to see and hear you live. Love this song so much. Thanks, thanks, thanks , you will come to Nürnberg next year and I will be there, too. My favorites at the moment: City of chicago Rainy night in soho , I hear you and a lot of others, I can hear your music 24/7

Dear Luka, one person said to me that the music from sting is 10 times better than yours. This may be possible but the fact is: your music touch my heart and my soul. I feel your music in my whole body. And now I wait for your visit in Germany I think in Nürnberg in September 2024. For me and my soul your music, your voice is the best.
