I live in Lisbon and the reason that today the bicycle is my daily transport was because I visited Kopenhagen in 2005 and was inspired.

Great example of how to transport oneself around a city. I sent it to Wellington City Council, New Zealand. I hope they publicise it plus take action for implementation.

+fromthekiwigirl It is a fantastic place in many ways, but the weather is depressing. Particularly for half the year when its dark, cloudy, chilly, and drizzly. A further testimony to the success of the bikes actually... we ride in all kinds of shitty weather :P
