I didn't even know there was a movie. Wow. I didnt find out until yesterday while looking 3 days ahead on HBO and seeing a movie that siad City of Ember, and i yelled "THERE'S A MOVIE!?!?!?" No talks about it so I'm sure it didn't get very many ads or no one went to see it and they gave up the the rest of the books. I hope they remake them and try again.

To light a giant hall of Ember, the cityzen could be using classic fire. An Incendia at outer city can lighting until fixing electrical glitch, without need using echolocation like how lost into a dark salt mine.
