Holeyoke was a amazing city built on hard work of irish people the Irishman took such good care of that city and portericans moved in now the place is a dump the mills shut down and the city got destroyed my granpa told me the city was amazing then few porterican moved in started gangs and crime went threw the roof ive never see so much trash on streets as i do in holeyoke mass its was way beter as irish people .

I'll tell ya what really happen so you can stop blaming the Puerto Ricans. Those mills shut down and Irishmen lost jobs and moved out and poor Puerto Ricans took their spot. It happens almost everywhere except in rich places. I grew up in Williamsburg Brooklyn in the 80s and it was poor and wealthier people came and took it over... it just happened in reverse in your city. Do research man.
