I’m typically not the one to notice subtle things or read into things so much but the more I listen to this song the more I hear certain things like if you take each note by itself it almost sounds sad but with the cord changes and background sounds it gives this song a sense of hope

What an incredible performance. I always thought this piece would be so difficult to keep the melody separate from the supporting arpeggios but you hit it perfectly without missing a beat. I never even realized there was a motif from "Hollow Knight" in the middle of this piece, it's so much longer than I thought while playing the game

I am currently trying to play this piece and I am already starting to struggle quite a bit with the part that plays at 00:41. It's unlike anything I've played before and I think that I may have scaled myself in too high. Anyone else struggling with that part?

That was the first section I struggled with. I had to practice starting at 30bpm and it took forever to get the tempo up. I've learned the song now, though still working on dynamics and making fewer mistakes. I've considered making a whole series of videos talking about each section in detail -- the kind of videos I would have wanted when I learned, for example playing each section at half speed, talking about fingering options, etc. I've spent so many hours on this song and it's so rewarding. Hopefully you figured this section out!
