City of Trees Parade & Mardi Gras Festival

The biggest Mardi Gras parade in California is back for its fourth year, celebrating all of Sac-ramento’s diverse dance, music, and culture! Rolling down Capitol Mall from the Capitol West Steps and into Old Sacramento, this spectacular cultural showcase will include more than 1,300 performers, including: dance troupes, marching bands, a pet parade, LED fire-spinners, “mutant” desert vehicles, costumers, and more.
People can support this Mardi Gras nonprofit event and enjoy it all with a cold, adult beverage at the official festival grounds at 7th and Capitol Mall, tickets on sale now! The festival includes live music and aerial performances, food and drink, giant art cars on display, and interactive fun for kids like giant bubbles, face-painting, and a build-your-own Mardi Gras float contest us-ing mini-bricks and figurines.
