yeah I watched the muse Asia version of the episode and it had the right translation while I watched reaction channels everyone had totally wrong subs. It really starting to seem like crunchyroll doesn't really care anymore. Just a quick few notes. 1.) The Divine Blessing of the Phoenix is a one time thing, but since Reinhardt is loved by Od Laguna (energy of the world where all the souls come from and go to after death or something like that) he can really just wish for any divine blessing he knows exists and receive it 2.) 7:35 Lye Batenkaitos in this scene talks about Subaru the way Rem was talking about him all the way back at the beginning of season 2. We also know he ate Rems memories so him speaking kinda highly of Subaru while at the same time calling him weak and in need of help probably has something to do with that. 3.) 9:05 This scene was kind of blundered by the Crunchyroll translations. Roy Alphard says Juulius is as he imagined and calls him brother, so make of that what you will

First point might be a bit of a spoiler as I don't remember that coming up in the anime. Second and third points though, yeah. Botched subtitles since Lye and Roy both say things that seem very similar to people that we've seen. The subtitles weren't awful in general but removing the "brother" part from Gluttony's subtitles is bad.

Re:Zero has a much deeper world building than you'd think but adapting all of the information from the WN/LN into the anime is just impossible. A lot of details that are skipped can be really interesting/important so I'd recommend watching the episode breakdowns or other explanation videos from channels like Echidnut

Things to take into account in this episode: - It is theorized that, if the Archbishops of Sin did not kill the Ten Council Members one by one, then the one who may have perhaps done that as sabotage was Aldebaran since he has not appeared in almost all of the Arc, it is totally a mystery as to his whereabouts. The theory that Aldebaran was the one who caused the flooding gets stronger. - Julius told Roy his real name, which implies that this can end well or badly.. Julius reacted surprised when Roy spoke to him because he referred to him as “brother”, meaning that he knows about Joshua's existence. Crunchyroll mistranslated that line and didn't add it, making Julius react senselessly. - Otto has the Divine Protection of Soul Language, the blessing that allows him to talk to animals, that's why he summoned the water dragons when Lye was going to attack him. - Priscilla told Anastasia vixen and apparently she hit on something when she said she was hiding a secret. - At Breaktime, Otto already gave the incinerated Book of Wisdom to the repairman to restore. Otto said he plans to study all of its contents in order to burn it again. I hope with this you can better understand the episode and stay tuned for the next one because it will be PEAK.

That's why, before meeting Roy again in this episode, he talked to Ricardo and told him that it was no longer important to worry about his name, because he assumed that Gluttony devoured a member of his own faction that he no longer remembers and acquired his memories to know his name. By knowing his name beforehand, he can now eat him without Julius telling him. What Julius didn't expect was for Roy to also know that he has a younger brother.

Interesting things going on this episode. We have Priscilla saying Al keeps many secrets but also suggesting that Anastasia is doing the same. We have Priscilla theorizing that the cult wasn't the one who started taking out the council of ten but rather it was someone trying to stop the cult from finding the witch's remains. Otto was ready to play mind games with Lye but apparently he hates merchants for some reason so it didn't work. Luckily Otto always has backup plans. This was a translation error but Roy called Julius his big brother which is why he looked so shocked. Regulus is twisting everything to make himself look innocent. Tappei(the author) has stated that if every witch(minus Satella) and Archbishop fought, Regulus would be the last one standing. The battle of the strongest vs the invincible has begun. And last but not least, Capella tricked Wilhelm and Garfiel by leaving a fake of her near the tower while actually sneaking back to where Felix and Crusch are. Things are not looking good.

I’m going to avoid giving any real spoilers without marking them first 13:05 along with his divine protection of the sword saint, which allows him to master any weapon, he also has a separate, unique, divine protection to himself that gives him the power to request any other divine protection and create new ones if one doesn’t exist for what he needs. You guys kind of missed it, but he used this last episode to ask for a divine protection to let him see other people‘s divine protections. *Skip to next paragraph if you want to avoid a small spoiler.* The only limitation to this power is that he can’t request a Divine protection that only exists in one person, otherwise he can request or create anything he needs. (like the divine protection that blue haired little girl has to let her control monsters, that’s a unique one) He has several hundred divine protections. I’ll name a few but, to avoid spoilers as much as possible, I’m only going to state the ones we’ve seen him use in the anime: the divine protection of the Phoenix, which allows him to revive once from death, but he can give it to himself again after he uses it, making him essentially immortal. The divine protection of the sword saint, which does what I mentioned above. Any weapon he picks up he will instantly master. This protection also allows him to draw the dragon sword when the situation calls for it, no other person would be able to draw it. This is the protection he stole from his grandmother by accident that led to her death. It is also what earns him the title of sword saint. A divine protection that makes them immune to projectiles, any projectile will always miss him. If you remember when the assassin girl from way back in episode three threw a knife at him, it just went around his head and missed because of this. A divine protection that makes his projectiles always hit. That’s why the door hit greed perfectly even though Reinhard had no way of knowing where he was on the other side of the door. And the divine protection of telepathy, which he gave himself after he saw Liliana using it, it allows him to speak to telepathically to anyone he can see. There’s also one that makes his fist insanely strong, but I can’t remember the name of it. That’s why he fights with his fist when he can’t draw his sword. You asked what he was holding in his hand when he was fighting wrath back in episode 2 of season 3, he was holding nothing. His fist is just so strong that it can break weapons. *This one is a spoiler because they skipped the part where he used it:* A divine protection called something like first attack immunity, it makes him immune to ambushes and the enemies first strike will always miss. He couples this with succeeding attack immunity, which means that the second attack also always misses, unless he allows it to hit like he did with the attack from greed in this episode.

Yes, they messed up this line, not defending Crunchyroll. But it's better to let anime onlies try and figure things out on their own. Some fans enjoy the challenge of piecing things together from the anime. I know you aren't, strictly speaking, spoiling anything but you are heavily alluding to a big reveal that'll have a big impact on Julius's character going forward. It's better to let people experience this naturally.

Reinhardt is purposely OP beyond reasonability. He’s then used as a tool to reveal how strange and dangerous the powers of the witch cultists truly are. Reinhardt couldn’t see Sloth’s hidden hand or his presence in possessed vessels. Reinhardt couldn’t kill Gluttony without forever losing and cutting off the existences and memories the sin archbishops swallowed. Reinhardt couldn’t kill Sirius without killing all innocent people under her influence. I think it’s a neat and clever way to illustrate just how lacking pure combat potential on its own really is. The witch cult is too obscure and unorthodox to take down without a huge amount of strategic prowess and outside of the box thinking.

I think part of it has to do with overall capability. Once you take the Authority from Regulus, he's a fairly normal guy with no combat skills. Whereas it drew for Cecilus and Puck, who's capabilities are innate
