I lived in both. I have family in Phoenix but when I left Los Angeles I picked Vegas. The reasons where its about 5 degrees cooler on any given day. If it 115 in Phoenix its probably 110 in Vegas. You might not think that's a lot but, its a lot given how many days Phoenix has over 100 degrees. Also its way easier to get around town in Vegas with shorter commutes. The style of houses is much different. Phoenix has more 1 story ranch homes with bigger lots than Las Vegas. Most Vegas homes seem close to one another and are split level. But the main reason I picked Vegas is it just seemed livelier, taxes were lesser, cost of living a little cheaper, and its easier to access to CA if you want to go the San Diego for example. Either city blows LA out of the water. The Vegas airport is easy to get to and use. But I agree both are great places to live. I sacrificed sports over LA but since moving the NHL, NFL and Formula 1 have begun, The A's will take 3 years to move but the facilities will be excellent when completed. And the Sphere is the best modern concert venue in the world .

Old town Scottsdale definitely has walkable downtown district with a bunch of bars and restaurants and downtown Phoenix actually has a lot of options for bars and restaurants in walkable distance

Please keep doing this type of videos. How about doing a comparison between Vegas and Dallas or San Antonio.

Thumbs up for LV/Dallas, I am retiring from the Navy and my wife and I recently chose LV over Dallas after a long back and forth struggle lol. Our move from Korea to LV is coming soon!

There are 3 decent lakes from 30-45 minutes from Phoenix in Roosevelt, Canyon, and Saguaro that offer plenty of shoreline for fishing, boat tours, water skiing, and camping. Lake Pleasant just north of Phoenix is also popular.

Great video as a longtime resident of LA$ VEGA$ for over 13 years now. My advice to people moving to LA$ VEGA$.......DON'T!!!

I lived in both cities. Love Vegas, but outdoor living in Phoenix dominates Vegas hands down. I appreciate your bias though 😊
