2014 MHSAA Playoffs - Detroit Cass Tech vs Dearborn Fordson

Cass Tech played well and so did Fordson. Both squads have strong, tough, winning and successful programs. I'm from Detroit and pulled for Cass Tech,but I have a lot of respect for Fordson and Arabic community out there.. Both teams played well.

First of all s/o to those young men who played they hearts out on both teams.. Glad to see cass win, #themachine Fordson is a great team, but not every team is afraid of them, not everyone is jus gonna give in frm intimidation. Stay humble.

Refs gave the game to Cass Tech. They called a "chop block" against Fordson lol haven't heard that call in my 28 years of life watching high school AND college football. Besides, Fordson beat themselves in this one. CT got lucky but they won. Good game to both teams.

Would you like them to go out there and say "hey we are not that great and you guys can probably beat us but were going to give it are best" lmao every good team talks trash and believes they're the best. I didn't hear one case player give Fordson any credit for playing a great game? Cass did win the game however if not for Fordsons fumble in the late stages of the game the outcome may have been different.

You didnt get what i was saying, theres a difference between confident and "cocky",Talk trash when youe've actually accomplised something like cass has, not after running through a weak league and getting knocked out the playoffs 1st or 2nd round every year like fordson .

"Weak league" right because detroit Mumford and Frederick Douglass are that much better than monroe or DLS. Let's not forget last seasons loss against CC...Regardless, good job to both teams. Heck of a game.

Never said the PSL was a power conference either, but cass has still(unlike fordson) made it to the big game at ford field in spite of, which they beat the crap out CC twice, so your arugment about cass losing to CC in the "Semi" last year is irrelevent, tell fordson to make it to the semi round first. plus DLS is not even in fordsons league so thats also irrelevent as well.i have no problem with confidents but if your gonna be a cocky lil jerk who acts like they've won all these state championships (like most of fordson players are) actually get the job done.

Then it really depends on your definition of "cocky" and confidence. Unless you actually played in this game, there's really nothing you can say regarding Fordson talking trash. Besides, that has always been part of this game. We see it in the NFL all the time (Richard Sherman).
