Beverly: Tell us where does the stormwater off to in Durham?
Anna: Sure. So in Durham we've got natural drainage systems like ditches, creeks, and streams. And we also have a built stormwater drainage system. So that's the curbs, storm drains that you see in the side of the road, and then the pipes underneath our roads that carry our rainwater once it turns into stormwater, carries it from the city, all the way out into our creeks and stream.
