My 4x great grandfather, Isaac P Whitehead, died Sept 24, 1854 of the Yellow Fever. His oldest son died just a couple days before from it. His youngest son died just a few months earlier, in March, from scarlet fever. All 3 of them are buried here in lot 213.

My GG Grandfather W. B. ELROD was a member of co G 16th Ga infantry at gettysburg he died of complications of a leg wound! He was removed from gettysburg in 1871 and lies near the foot of the silence memorial statue!
