St Petersburg Florida is imho a hidden gem. A big small city complete with beaches, museums, trendy shops & restaurants. I moved here from NYC over 20 years ago and have seen it grow immensely. What makes this town great is its southern charm of respect. This is a great place to live and have a family....

Catfish Billy thank you so much I’m leaving next week. My mother in law had Alzheimer’s and Diabetes and dementia and she was really sick the last five years of her life. She had five strokes and hospital gave us choice of sending her to nursing home or let her come home to pass so she passed at our home with all of us surrounding her when she took her last breath. I really really miss her l

A person should always do an exploratory trip to a place before moving there but, yes, this video is an accurate depiction of the downtown St. Pete area facing Tampa Bay. If you drive 8 - 9 miles west, you are now on the gulf side of St. Pete with endless sandy beaches. Personally, I think the Tampa Bay area is the best overall area in Florida to live. It truly has something for everybody!

It has diversity. Downtown is my stomping ground. Love Park Shore Grill. You are missing out if you think otherwise. Minority community pretty much decides who becomes Mayor and sits on City Council. St. Pete is very diverse and just not race but culture.
