I like how, when Carthage finished off England, all of the ships were just parked in somewhat random locations somewhat close to England, then it transitioned to London being absolutely SURROUNDED by ships. Poor England, never did get control of the Iron to get Ships of the Line, and I don't think their extra spy helped at all.

Portugal was too weak to fight, so Carthage basically killed them, looted Portugal's corpse, and then used the loot to win the game. In RPG terms.

Chris Hee I thought so too, especially once they built the Colossus (2:23)! Granted, it took them until 1020 AD to do it! Then again, the Ottoman-Carthaginian war (2:55-3:08) took quite a toll on both of them while Portugal just walked over the Great Wall and took Honolulu from the Polynesians. I thought that was the turning of the tide... but then Portugal pushed too far (3:21) trying to tackle a weakened Ottoman and left themselves open to a rebuilt Carthage. Very fun to watch.

It was pretty obvious that Carthage was going to win this. That free Harbor in all their cities on a map this small with that many water tiles, and then to have Amsterdam and Honolulu just lined up like that. The only real resistance would've came from England's Ships of the Line when they eventually arrived. While all the Civilizations present have a Naval theme to them, only Carthage has one that's actually useful, and in this situation it's overpowered. The Danish with their Viking Fury, which is similar to Wayfinding, would've done a lot better than Polynesia ever did. The Japanese would've been another good fit with their Bushido ability paying off in spades in such a close quarter map, with the extra Culture from Fishing Boats being a nice little bonus.

At the bottom left corner you can see the player unit. That's how you play out a fully AI game. Have the player unit hidden away from the world.
